The Friends of Hello Little Owl Boxed Set 1by Mary Uihlein->->->->DOWNLOAD BOOK The Friends of Hello Little Owl Boxed Set 1 Welcome to The Friends of Hello Little Owl, a new series by Award-Winning Author-Illustrator Mary Uihlein. You'll find fun-filled, nature-inspired stories with “little life lessons.” In this Boxed Set, you’re treated to the first three books in the series.
Having read about the growing plight of the bees and the impact their dwindling numbers have on civilization’s need for pollination of flowers for food, Mary decided to write a whimsical poem about a naughty bumblebee who shirked her daily responsibilities. While invoking giggles and capturing young readers’ imaginations, she also brings an awareness of the importance of bees in our world.
FOR MISTER BEAR
We, who love our pets, know how difficult it is to have one pass from our lives. Pets become part of our family. When we lose one, it’s hard to imagine our days without them. When Mary said farewell to “Mister Bear,” she wanted to remember him in a poem and share her visions of his new life.
She hopes the children you read this book to learn that their feelings of sadness will eventually fade and their happy memories of their pets will make them smile and laugh again. She hopes her poem touches your hearts and encourages you to envision a special place where your pets will live forever…loved, happy and free!
BROWN DOG! WHERE ARE YOU?
Each brown dog in Mary’s life touched her heart deeply. She remembers each one for its unique personality traits…
Snuffy, a Chocolate Lab, was a gentle giant!
Ghillie, an American Water Spaniel was spirited, a bit growly, and very devoted to me!
Mister Bear, a Spanish Water Dog, was independent, funny, and loved to swim in the lake!
Beaver, Mister Bear’s brother, is loveable, caring and a little neurotic!
Guinness, a Spanish Water Dog, is the clown of the family and bursting with personality!
Hazel, Guinness’ sister, even though shy, is the protector!
All of these sweet dogs were “lost” at least once!
She hopes you enjoy her story of a little girl who can’t find her favorite pet, Brown Dog!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR-ILLUSTRATOR:
Award-Winning Author-Illustrator Mary Uihlein [pronounced E-line] was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Growing up, she spent much of her time outdoors, either at her family home in northern Wisconsin or on vacations to Scotland and the western United States. During these times, she became very aware of the natural world and loved learning about the flora and fauna of different regions.
Mary is inspired by all elements of nature and brings them to her work with detailed and whimsical illustrations.
The idea for the Little Owl character in Mary’s first series “Hello Little Owl,” came to her when her first grandchild, Emma James Uihlein, was on the way. The baby’s gender was to remain a surprise! And because the family surname, Uihlein, translates loosely to “little owl” in German, the unborn child was fondly called their “Little Owl” for the next nine months.
Mary spends her time between Sarasota, Florida and Land O’Lakes, Wisconsin and is busy working on new nature related stories with new characters on the way.
You’re always welcome in her online home at www.hellolittleowl.com
